Get the ultimate souvenir!
For the entire weekend, the young and old, the brave and fearful, the
weak and the strong, and everyone in between can have their picture
taken with a live (yes, I said live) rattlesnake. Expert snake wranglers
have chosen snakes that are good looking, have shown an inherent nature
of goodwill towards man, and have an outgoing personality. In fact, if
you are lucky, the snake might just give you a kiss on the cheek. Also,
the snakes would love to share a place on your family mantel.
The photo booth is located
right next to the Snake Pit. The photo booth is operated by the American
Legion. A portion of the revenue generated from the photo booth is used
to further the American Legion's many efforts. So, not only do you
receive the ultimate souvenir, you have furthered the many worthwhile
causes of the American Legion.
The photo booth opens with
the flea market and typically closes with the buying platform. The
pictures are high quality, digital photos that are printed within
minutes of the picture being taken. Also, the pictures are reasonably
priced. In addition, whole families can take the picture together. No trip to the Mangum Rattlesnake Derby is complete without a picture
with a live rattlesnake!
